I totally skewed the merits of the article. Basically, men are working more hours to remain competitive, and women have to pick up the slack [as they should!*] in the home, which puts them at a disadvantage at work. All this added stress is definitely likely to lead to a scene like above-presumably over something insignificant such as taking out the trash.
*I’m not a misogynist, but I find pleasure in pretending like I am
